Atlanta, GA – Benefiting Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America.
Share Our Strength hosted their sixth annual Give Me Five dinner on Sunday, August 19th, 2012 at Cherokee Town & Country Club. Six of Georgia’s most accomplished chefs prepared five delicious courses, which five of Georgia’s top sommeliers paired with the finest wines . Prior to dinner, guests enjoyed cocktails & hors d’oeuvres while perusing the silent auction with items varying from home and kitchen to luxurious exotic vacations. An envious live auction also took place during the event, where guests walked away with one of a kind experiences.
The group of chefs included Michael Deihl of East Lake Golf Club, Kevin Gillespie of Woodfire Grill, Anthony Gray of Southern Art, Heather Hurlbert of HH Desserts, Pano Karatassos of Kyma, and Eric Karell of St. Ives Country Club. The sommeliers involved were Silvio Garcia of Cherokee Town & Country Club, Matt Bradford of Canoe Restaurant, Dorine Buche of BLT Steak, Niko Karatassos of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, and Andres Loazia of Aria Restaurant.
