Atlanta, GA – Raising money for breast cancer and AIDS awareness through a fabulous night of fashion to kick-off the fall social season.
2012 marked Jeffrey Fashion Cares 20th Anniversary! This year’s event was held in the lobby of the American Cancer Society Center in downtown Atlanta to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure – Greater Atlanta Affiliate, and the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF).
This year’s event was held Monday, August 27th with Fashion Chair was Jeffrey Kalinsky, and Event Co-Chairs were Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams. This year’s event included a surprise performance for Lila of a flash mob to mark her 10th anniversary as Event Co-Chair. The evening kicked-off with a VIP reception in the lounge overlooking the runway, while the main reception was dazzled by models in fashions from Jeffrey Atlanta, over-sized frames serving as unique step-and-repeats, an envious silent auction, and yummy bites from Dennis Dean Catering. Guest Designer, Joseph Altuzarra’s designes walked the dramatic u-shaped runway later that evening following a fantastic and fun Live Auction.
